Arsenal v Swansea – 3:00pm
Arsenal have had a poor start of the season. They have lost Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas, and although qualifying for the Champions League, they have had a disaster start. They have only scored 2 goals, and they were in a 8-2 defeat against Manchester United. Arsenal have only got one point so far, and that is less than newly promoted Swansea. The side from Wales have done okay so far, securing two draws and lost to Manchester City away. There big problem is scoring goals, as they are yet to get off the mark though. Arsenal are 4/11 to win this match so overwhelming favourites despite the league positions. Swansea are 8/1 to win this match so not looking promising for them. I personally think Arsenal will win this match, but go 1-0 down, but recover to win 3 or 4 to 1.
My Recommendations;
Correct Score; Arsenal 3-1 Swansea (10/1)
First Goal Scorer; Robin Van Persie (3/1)
Special; Swansea to be winning at half time, but losing at full time (28/1)
Manchester City v Wigan – 3:00pm
Manchester have won 3 games this season so far, scoring 12 in the process. Wigan are undefeated with 5 points, having played all the newly promoted sides so far. Manchester City are 1/6 to win this match, so strong favourites, as many can’t see any upsets here. Wigan are 16/1 to win, which I think is incredible and one of the smallest odds in Premier League history. I think Wigan to win is unlikely, but if you are feeling lucky then go for it. I don’t think Manchester City will have it that easy, but I think they will win this one. With the likes of Silva, Nasri and Aguero, you can’t see them not scoring, and Wigan will find it hard to get a goal on the break.
My Recommendations;
Correct Score; Manchester City 2-0 Wigan (5/1)
First Goal Scorer; David Silva (6/1)
Special; Manchester City to win with 2 or few goals in the match (11/4)
Bolton v Manchester United – 5:30pm
Manchester United are flying at the moment, and since Barcelona beat them back in May, Manchester United have won every game including pre season, community shield and all the league games so far. Bolton won 4-0 in their opening match, but since have lost to two great sides in Liverpool and Manchester City. This game is another extremely hard game for Bolton, as they face current champions and league leaders. Bolton are 7/1 to win this, compared to Manchester United who are 2/5. United have always had a tough game at the Reebok Stadium, so don’t expect it to be a walk over by any means. They should still have enough quality to win this match, and Bolton will need to be at their best and hope they catch Man United on not one of their better games.
My Recommendations;
Correct Score; Bolton 1-2 Manchester United (7/1)
First Goal Scorer; Wayne Rooney (5/2)
Special; Manchester United to win with 3 or more goals scored in the match (6/5)
